- Evaluation of possible solutions through simulation frameworks (Life Cycle Assessment & Digital Twining Frames).
Dimitrios Kaklis majored in Information and Communication science from National Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialization in theoretical Computer Science. He received an Industrial PhD scholarship from SNF (Stavros Niarchos Foundation), in collaboration with Harokopio University of Athens and NCSR Demokritos, on “Financial exergy maximization in maritime operations through the lens of AI”. He joined Danaos in 2017 as Software Engineer and currently is working as Senior Research Engineer. Author of several papers and participant-scientific advisor in several EU projects concerning ship operational optimization, safety and environmental compliance.
